Best Next.js SaaS Templates and Starter Kits for 2026
#Next.js#SaaS#Templates#Starter Kits#Landing Pages#Admin Dashboards

This guide compares the best Next.js SaaS templates and starter kits for 2026. It is for founders, freelancers and product teams who need one of three things: a marketing site for a software product, a full app foundation with login and subscription billing, or an admin dashboard to run the product. It covers three Aniq UI templates and seven well-known alternatives, with what each one includes, what it costs and where it falls short.

Everything here was checked in October 2026. Where an official page or repository states the Next.js version, the entry gives it, and six of the ten picks are on Next.js 16. Every claim about another product comes from that product's own site, docs or GitHub repository, listed in the sources at the end.

Which type of SaaS template do you need?

Search for "Next.js SaaS template" and you get three different products under one name. Pick the type first, then compare inside it.

  • SaaS landing page template: the public marketing site. Hero, features, pricing table, FAQ and sometimes a blog. There is no backend and no billing logic; some include login and sign-up page designs that you connect to your own auth. Buy this when your app already exists, or when you want the marketing site to live apart from the app. In this list: Aniq UI SaaS Template, the free Aniq UI SaaS Landing Page, shadcnblocks Plasma and Cruip Open PRO.
  • SaaS starter kit (or boilerplate): a working app foundation with sign-up, sign-in, subscription billing and usually teams or organizations, plus a basic marketing page. Buy this when you are starting the product itself. In this list: Next.js SaaS Starter, ShipFast, Makerkit, supastarter and the ixartz SaaS Boilerplate.
  • SaaS admin dashboard: the panel your team uses to manage users, roles, permissions and data. In this list: Aniq UI Dashboard with AI Assistant.

Many products need two of these. A common setup is a polished landing template on the main domain and a starter kit or dashboard on an app subdomain. Aniq UI covers the landing page and the admin dashboard. It does not sell a SaaS subscription billing starter, so if you need Stripe subscriptions working on day one, start with one of the starter kits below and add a landing template on top.

Best Next.js SaaS Templates and Starter Kits in 2026

1. Aniq UI Next.js SaaS Template

Best for: a dark, multi-page marketing site for a software product in English and Arabic, when your app and billing live elsewhere.

Aniq UI Next.js SaaS Template: dark landing page with the hero and an analytics dashboard preview

The Aniq UI Next.js SaaS landing page template is a premium marketing site for software companies, startups and subscription services. It is built with Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4 and Framer Motion 12, uses a dark design, and is set up for SEO and fast loading. The hero pairs your headline and call-to-action buttons with an analytics dashboard preview, which suits products that want to show the app above the fold.

It is a full marketing site, not a single page. The product page lists Home, Pricing, Blog and Contact pages, login, sign-up and forgot-password pages, legal pages and error pages. The blog has search, categories and pagination, and its posts live in the code as a typed data file with English and Arabic message files, so there is no CMS to set up. Translations run on next-intl with English and Arabic, including right-to-left layouts. The visual side uses GSAP animations, WebGL particles, dashboard mockups, animated numbers, a world map and Recharts charts, and forms use React Hook Form with Zod validation.

  • Home, Pricing, Blog, Contact, auth, legal and error pages
  • Built-in blog with search, categories and pagination
  • English and Arabic (RTL) with next-intl
  • Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS 4
  • Dashboard mockups, pricing cards, Recharts charts and GSAP, Framer Motion 12 and WebGL effects
  • Commercial licence for unlimited projects, client work included, with lifetime support

Stack: Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, next-intl, Framer Motion 12, GSAP, Recharts, React Hook Form, Zod.

Price: From $79.

Good to know: the product page lists login and sign-up pages but no backend, auth provider, database or payment provider. Connect those pages to your own auth, or to a starter kit from this list, and point the pricing buttons at your checkout. Blog posts are edited in code, not in a CMS, so publishing a post means a new deploy. If you want a second design to compare, Aniq UI's Publino Next.js landing page template is also on Next.js 16 with English and Arabic (RTL), has dark and light modes, previews a deployments dashboard in its hero and costs the same.

2. Aniq UI SaaS Landing Page Template (free)

Best for: a free, MIT-licensed one-page SaaS site with a pricing table.

Aniq UI free SaaS Landing Page Template: dark hero with the dashboard it previews

The free SaaS landing page template with pricing from Aniq UI is an open-source starting point for a SaaS marketing page. It has four sections: a hero, a features showcase, a pricing table and a contact form. The dark design previews a dashboard in the hero, like the paid template above.

It is built with Next.js 15, React 19, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS 4, and ships under the MIT licence with full source code, free for personal and commercial projects. It fits a product launch page, a marketing site for a cloud or web application, or the first version of a site you plan to grow later.

  • Free, MIT licence, full source code
  • Hero, features, pricing table and contact form
  • Next.js 15, React 19, Tailwind CSS 4 and TypeScript
  • Responsive layout
  • Dark design with a dashboard preview

Stack: Next.js 15, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4.

Price: Free.

Good to know: it runs on Next.js 15, not 16, and it is a front end only. Its product page lists no backend, so connect the pricing buttons to your own checkout and the contact form to your own email or form service. For more free options, see our roundup of free landing page templates.

3. Aniq UI Dashboard with AI Assistant

Best for: the admin side of a SaaS product: users, admins, roles, projects and an AI assistant, with an optional NestJS API.

Aniq UI Next.js admin dashboard with AI assistant: dark overview with KPI cards, revenue analytics and a recent projects table

The Next.js admin dashboard template with AI assistant is a complete admin panel built with Next.js 16, React 19, Tailwind CSS 4, TanStack Query and Framer Motion. Aniq UI lists SaaS platforms, CRM systems, project management, team collaboration tools and internal tooling among its uses. The overview has KPI cards, quick tasks, a calendar, revenue analytics, a recent projects table and performance charts. Behind it are screens for users, admins, roles and permissions, and projects with their tasks.

It is sold three ways. The Admin Dashboard package is the Next.js front end, and it runs on bundled mock data without the API. The Backend API package is a NestJS API with TypeORM on SQLite or MySQL, JWT auth with roles and permissions, live permission updates over WebSocket, and a Docker image with a one-command seeder. The Full Stack package includes both.

  • AI assistant that answers with cards, charts, tables and follow-up questions, running on Gemini, OpenAI or DeepSeek with MCP tools behind it
  • Role-based access control with admin roles and permissions
  • English and Arabic with RTL, plus light and dark themes
  • A UI library page of 49 components with copyable code examples
  • Optional NestJS backend with a Docker image
  • Next.js 16 App Router

Stack: Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, TanStack Query, Redux Toolkit, next-intl, Framer Motion; NestJS, TypeORM, MySQL or SQLite, JWT, WebSocket.

Price: From $99 for the front end or the API alone; $149 for the full stack.

Good to know: it has no subscription billing or customer checkout. It manages your users and your team, so pair it with a starter kit or your own billing if customers pay inside the app. Login, roles and live data need the NestJS API, which comes in the Backend API or Full Stack package. For more options in this category, see our top 10 Next.js admin dashboard templates.

4. Next.js SaaS Starter

Best for: a free, minimal starter with Stripe subscriptions, teams and Postgres.

Next.js SaaS Starter demo: marketing page with the animated terminal and a link to pricing

The Next.js SaaS Starter is a free, MIT-licensed starter in the nextjs organization on GitHub. Its README describes a starter for a SaaS application with authentication, Stripe payments and a dashboard for logged-in users, and says it is deliberately minimal and meant to be learned from as much as built on.

It includes a marketing page with an animated terminal, a pricing page connected to Stripe Checkout, subscription management through the Stripe Customer Portal, team management with Owner and Member roles, and an activity log of user events. Data lives in Postgres through Drizzle ORM, and the UI uses shadcn/ui. The repository has about 16.2k GitHub stars (October 2026), and a public demo runs on Vercel.

  • Stripe Checkout and the Stripe Customer Portal for subscriptions
  • Email and password auth with JWTs stored in cookies
  • Teams with Owner and Member roles
  • Postgres with Drizzle ORM
  • shadcn/ui components and Zod validation for Server Actions
  • Free under the MIT licence

Stack: Next.js 15 (canary build), React 19, Tailwind CSS 4, Postgres, Drizzle, Stripe, shadcn/ui.

Price: Free.

Good to know: its package.json pins a Next.js 15 canary build (October 2026), so budget time to move to Next.js 16. The landing page is simple, and many teams put a separate marketing template in front of it. If you want a bigger free foundation from Vercel, next-forge is a Turborepo monorepo for SaaS apps with Clerk auth, Prisma, Stripe, Resend emails, a docs app and Storybook.

5. ShipFast

Best for: a solo founder who wants login, payments, emails and a landing page wired up in one purchase.

ShipFast Next.js boilerplate: official preview image

ShipFast is a paid Next.js boilerplate for SaaS products, AI tools and other web apps. The official page lists login with Google OAuth and magic links, payments with Stripe or Lemon Squeezy, a MongoDB or Supabase database, transactional emails with Mailgun or Resend, SEO tags, a blog, and landing page components such as a pricing section, buttons and modals.

The FAQ says you choose JavaScript or TypeScript, and the App Router or the Pages Router, after purchase. Every plan is a one-time payment for unlimited projects with lifetime updates, and buyers join a Discord community.

  • Stripe or Lemon Squeezy payments
  • Google OAuth and magic link login
  • MongoDB or Supabase
  • Transactional emails with DNS setup guidance (DKIM, DMARC, SPF)
  • Blog, SEO tags, components and animations
  • JavaScript or TypeScript, App Router or Pages Router

Stack: Next.js, Tailwind CSS, NextAuth, MongoDB or Supabase, Stripe or Lemon Squeezy, Mailgun or Resend.

Price: From $199 (October 2026), shown on the official page as a discount from $299.

Good to know: the official page does not state a Next.js version, so check the current package. The page does not list teams or organizations, so if you sell to companies with several seats per account, compare Makerkit or supastarter.

6. Makerkit

Best for: B2B SaaS with team accounts, roles and a super admin panel, on Supabase, Drizzle or Prisma.

Makerkit Next.js SaaS starter kit: official preview image

Makerkit describes itself as a Next.js SaaS starter kit and multi-tenant boilerplate for developers building B2B products. You choose one of three kits: Supabase (Supabase Auth, Postgres, Storage and Row Level Security), Drizzle with Better Auth, or Prisma 7 with Better Auth. All three support Next.js 16 and TanStack Start, and the Supabase kit also supports React Router 8.

The kits include personal and team accounts, email invitations, custom roles and permissions, Stripe billing with per-seat, metered, flat-rate and one-time models, and a super admin panel for users, organizations and subscriptions, with impersonation. There is also a blog, a documentation section and a changelog, plus instruction files and an MCP server for AI coding tools.

  • Personal and team accounts with invitations and custom roles
  • Stripe billing: per-seat, metered, flat-rate and one-time
  • Super admin for users, organizations and subscriptions
  • Password, magic link, passkey and social sign-in, with TOTP MFA
  • Blog, documentation and changelog
  • A free Lite edition under the MIT licence for open-source projects

Stack: Next.js 16, Supabase or Drizzle or Prisma, Supabase Auth or Better Auth, Stripe, Resend or Nodemailer.

Price: From $299 (October 2026), one-time, for one developer. The Teams licence, for up to five collaborators, is $599 (October 2026).

Good to know: a licence covers the stack you pick, and the pricing page says freelancers need each client to hold their own licence. Stripe is the billing provider named on the official pages, so check the docs if you plan to use another one.

7. supastarter

Best for: teams that want a choice of payment providers, organizations with seat billing, and i18n built in.

supastarter demo: sample product landing page with a dashboard preview

supastarter is a one-time-purchase SaaS starter kit with auth, billing, organizations and emails. Next.js is the main version, and Nuxt and TanStack Start versions are also offered. Auth runs on better-auth with passwords, passkeys, magic links, OAuth and 2FA. Payments support Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Polar, Creem and Dodo Payments, and the data layer uses Prisma or Drizzle.

It includes organizations with invites, member roles and seat-based billing, a super admin role, internationalization with translatable emails, a multi-language MDX blog, a docs site built on Fumadocs, an AI chatbot example, S3-compatible file storage, Sentry monitoring and Playwright tests. A public demo shows the marketing site and a product dashboard.

  • Five payment providers, including Stripe and Lemon Squeezy
  • Organizations, invites, roles and seat-based billing
  • i18n with a language switcher and translatable emails
  • Super admin for users and organizations
  • Blog and docs site included
  • API layer on Hono, oRPC and TanStack Query, with OpenAPI

Stack: Next.js, better-auth, Prisma or Drizzle, Hono, oRPC, Tailwind CSS, Base UI (shadcn/ui compatible).

Price: From $349 (October 2026), one-time. Startup ($799, up to 5 developer seats) and Agency ($1,499, up to 10 seats) tiers are also listed.

Good to know: the official page does not state the Next.js version, so check the current package. It covers a lot of ground, so expect to spend some time learning its structure before you build your own features.

8. ixartz SaaS Boilerplate

Best for: a free, open-source boilerplate with multi-tenancy, roles and i18n, if you are happy to use Clerk for auth.

ixartz SaaS Boilerplate live demo: SaaS landing page built with Shadcn UI and Tailwind CSS

The SaaS Boilerplate by ixartz is a free, MIT-licensed Next.js boilerplate. Its package.json uses Next.js 16, React 19 and Tailwind CSS 4. Authentication is handled by Clerk, with sign-up, social login, MFA and user impersonation. Data uses Drizzle ORM with PostgreSQL by default, with SQLite and MySQL also supported, and translations run on next-intl.

The free version includes multi-tenancy with team support, role-based permissions, and a landing page with hero, features and pricing sections. Paid Plus, Pro and Max versions add Stripe, dark mode, typesafe APIs with oRPC, an extended dashboard and more. The repository has about 7.5k GitHub stars (October 2026).

  • Multi-tenancy and team support in the free version
  • Role-based access control and permissions
  • Clerk auth with social login and MFA
  • Drizzle with PostgreSQL, SQLite or MySQL
  • next-intl for translations
  • Vitest, Playwright and Storybook already set up

Stack: Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, Shadcn UI, Clerk, Drizzle, next-intl.

Price: Free and paid tiers.

Good to know: Stripe billing is not in the free version. Clerk is a separate service with its own plans, so check what it costs at your expected user count. The README lists self-hosted Better Auth as a Plus and Max feature if you want to avoid a hosted auth service.

9. shadcnblocks Plasma

Best for: a developer-focused SaaS site built on shadcn/ui, with docs, changelog and download pages.

shadcnblocks Plasma demo: developer product landing page hero with pricing, docs and changelog in the navigation

Plasma is a developer SaaS and app template from shadcnblocks, built on shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS 4, with a Next.js edition and an Astro edition. The official shadcnblocks template list gives the Next.js edition as Next.js 16. It has 14 pages, including a landing page, pricing, docs, a changelog and a download page, and it is written in TypeScript with Markdown support.

The public demo shows all 14 pages for a sample desktop automation product, with log-in and sign-up links in the navigation. Plasma costs $79 on its own, or it comes with 20 other premium templates, a Figma kit and an admin kit in the shadcnblocks Premium plan for $299 (October 2026).

  • 14 pages, including landing, pricing, docs, changelog and download
  • Built on shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS 4
  • Next.js 16 and Astro editions
  • TypeScript and Markdown
  • Use for unlimited end products, for your own company or for clients
  • Public demo of all 14 pages

Stack: Next.js 16 (or Astro), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, shadcn/ui.

Price: From $79 (October 2026).

Good to know: it is a marketing site, and the official pages list no auth or billing logic, so connect its sign-up links to your app or to a starter kit. Plans are for a single user and reselling the components is restricted, so check the licence if several developers will use it.

10. Cruip Open PRO

Best for: a low-cost, dark, multi-page SaaS website on Next.js 16.

Cruip Open PRO demo: dark SaaS website hero

Open PRO from Cruip is a dark SaaS website template for a startup or software product. The Next.js version is built with Next.js 16, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS v4, and it has 12 pages, including Home, About, Pricing, Blog, Help Centre, Contact and Newsletter. HTML, Vue and Figma versions are also available.

Cruip also offers a free template called Open, a dark Next.js landing page for open-source projects and SaaS, on GitHub. Open PRO is part of Cruip's Classic Bundle, which includes 20 templates for $79 (October 2026).

  • 12 pages, including pricing, blog and a help centre
  • Next.js 16, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS v4
  • Use on unlimited personal and commercial projects
  • A free version, Open, on GitHub
  • Live preview on the product page

Stack: Next.js 16, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4.

Price: From $49 (October 2026).

Good to know: it is a marketing site only. Cruip's support runs for one year from purchase and does not cover in-depth customization. The free Open template is released under the GPL and may not be resold or redistributed, so read the terms before you build on it.

How to Choose a Next.js SaaS Template

Start with what you are building this month

If the app already exists and you need traffic and sign-ups, buy a landing template. If you are starting the product, buy a starter kit. If customers are already using the product and your team needs to manage users and data, buy an admin dashboard. Buying a starter kit to make a marketing page, or a landing template to get billing, are the two most expensive mix-ups.

Check what billing really ships

"SaaS ready" can mean a pricing table, or it can mean working subscriptions. Look for Stripe Checkout or an equivalent, a customer portal for upgrades and cancellations, and webhook handling. In this list, the Next.js SaaS Starter, ShipFast, Makerkit and supastarter include billing out of the box, the ixartz boilerplate includes it only in paid versions, and the landing templates and the Aniq UI dashboard include none.

Decide whether you need teams and organizations

A product sold to individuals can live with one user per account. A product sold to companies needs organizations, invitations, roles and often per-seat billing. Makerkit, supastarter and the ixartz boilerplate list these features, and the Next.js SaaS Starter has a basic version with Owner and Member roles. Adding multi-tenancy later is much harder than starting with it.

Look at the services each kit depends on

Each kit ties you to choices that are hard to undo: Clerk or Supabase Auth or a self-hosted library, MongoDB or Postgres, Prisma or Drizzle, Stripe or another payment provider. Pick the kit whose services you would have chosen anyway, and check their pricing at the size you expect to reach. If you prefer a separate API, the Aniq UI dashboard's NestJS backend is a different model from the all-in-Next.js kits.

Check the Next.js version in package.json

Product pages are not always current. Open the repository or the package after purchase and read package.json. In this list, the Aniq UI SaaS Template, the Aniq UI dashboard, Makerkit, the ixartz boilerplate, shadcnblocks Plasma and Cruip Open PRO state Next.js 16, the free Aniq UI landing page uses Next.js 15, and the Next.js SaaS Starter pins a Next.js 15 canary build.

Read the licence for seats and client work

Licences differ more than prices. Makerkit and supastarter sell per-developer seats, Makerkit asks each client project to hold its own licence, ShipFast covers unlimited projects, and free templates range from MIT to GPL with a no-resale condition. If you are an agency or freelancer, check this before you buy.

Check languages and right-to-left support

If you sell outside English-speaking markets, look for translation support from the start. supastarter and the ixartz boilerplate ship i18n, Makerkit keeps UI strings in translation files, and on the Aniq UI side the SaaS Template, Publino and the Dashboard with AI Assistant support English and Arabic with RTL.

Common Mistakes When Buying a SaaS Template

Expecting billing from a landing page template

A pricing table is a design section, not a checkout. Landing templates show plans; starter kits charge for them. Check the stack line for Stripe or another payment provider before you buy.

Buying a full boilerplate to build a marketing page

A starter kit brings auth, a database, billing webhooks and their accounts with it. If all you need this month is a site that explains the product and collects sign-ups, a landing template is faster to launch and cheaper to run.

Forgetting the admin side

Starter kits focus on the customer's view of the app. Someone on your team still needs to find users, change roles and look at activity. Some kits include a super admin area; if yours does not, plan for an admin dashboard early.

Choosing on the demo alone

A polished demo says little about code structure, update history or how long setup takes. Read the docs and the repository, and check when the package was last updated, before you commit.

Ignoring the licence

A seat-based licence bought by one developer does not cover a team of five, and a free GPL template cannot be resold. Match the licence to how you will use the code.

FAQ

What is the best free Next.js SaaS template?

For a free starter kit with Stripe subscriptions, the Next.js SaaS Starter is the best pick. For a free marketing page, the Aniq UI SaaS Landing Page Template (MIT) or Cruip's Open are good starting points. The free ixartz SaaS Boilerplate adds multi-tenancy and roles, but its Stripe integration is in the paid versions.

What is the best premium Next.js SaaS template?

It depends on the type. For the marketing site, the Aniq UI Next.js SaaS Template ($79) gives you a dark, multi-page Next.js 16 site with pricing, blog, contact and auth pages in English and Arabic. For a full starter kit, Makerkit and supastarter are strong for B2B teams and ShipFast for a solo product. For the admin panel, the Aniq UI Dashboard with AI Assistant adds roles, permissions and an AI assistant.

What is the difference between a SaaS template and a SaaS boilerplate?

A template is usually the front end: pages, sections and components with no backend. A boilerplate (or starter kit) is a working app foundation with auth, a database and billing already connected. Many products use both: a template for the public site and a boilerplate for the app.

Does a Next.js SaaS template include Stripe billing?

Landing page templates do not. They include a pricing section that you link to your checkout. Starter kits do: the Next.js SaaS Starter, ShipFast, Makerkit and supastarter all include Stripe, and supastarter and ShipFast also support Lemon Squeezy.

Can I use a landing page template with a separate starter kit?

Yes, and it is a common setup. Run the landing template on your main domain and the starter kit's app on a subdomain such as app.yourdomain.com, then point the sign-up and pricing buttons at the app. You can also copy the template's sections into the starter kit's marketing pages if you prefer one codebase.

Is there a Next.js SaaS boilerplate with shadcn/ui?

Yes. The Next.js SaaS Starter, the ixartz SaaS Boilerplate and next-forge use shadcn/ui, and supastarter describes its UI as shadcn/ui compatible. For a landing template on shadcn/ui, shadcnblocks Plasma is built on it.

Can I still buy Salient from Tailwind Plus?

Not as a new customer. Tailwind Labs announced on September 9, 2026 that it is joining Shopify and closing sign-ups for new Tailwind Plus customers, while existing customers keep their access (Tailwind Labs is joining Shopify). If you already have Tailwind Plus, Salient is still a clean single-page SaaS marketing template. If not, the landing templates in this list are ones you can buy today.

Which Next.js SaaS starter kits run on Next.js 16?

Makerkit states support for Next.js 16, and the ixartz SaaS Boilerplate's package.json uses Next.js 16. The Next.js SaaS Starter pins a Next.js 15 canary build, and ShipFast and supastarter do not state a version on their official pages, so check the current package.

Conclusion

Start by naming the type you need. If you need a marketing site, the Aniq UI Next.js SaaS Template is a strong paid pick on Next.js 16 that also covers Arabic with RTL, the free Aniq UI SaaS Landing Page or Cruip's Open cost nothing, and shadcnblocks Plasma and Cruip Open PRO are good alternatives. If you are building the product itself, the Next.js SaaS Starter is the best free foundation, ShipFast suits a solo founder, and Makerkit or supastarter suit B2B products with teams and seat billing. If your team needs an admin panel with roles, permissions and an AI assistant, the Aniq UI Dashboard with AI Assistant covers it, with an optional NestJS API.

If you want the landing page and the dashboard together, the Aniq UI Next.js templates bundle includes the SaaS Template, Publino and the Dashboard with AI Assistant along with seven more premium templates, in one purchase.
