About Next.js Event Ticketing Template with Seat Maps and QR Check-in
Ticketory brings an organiser's ticketing together in a single full-stack template for workshops, talks and festivals. A Next.js website lets attendees find events, choose seats and get their tickets, a Next.js dashboard lets the organiser build events and seat maps, run the door, handle refunds and follow sales, and a NestJS API with TypeORM serves both, with roles and permissions, live notifications and a seeder that fills four sample organisers with venues, events, orders and check-ins.
On the website, attendees search events by city, dates and category, open an event with its agenda and venue, and pick seats on a live seat map that holds them for ten minutes on the server's clock, or a number of places for general admission. Checkout sends them to Stripe's hosted Checkout or to PayPal, free tickets skip payment altogether, and a test payment stands in while no live key is set. Every confirmed order gets one pass per ticket with a signed QR code, a PDF, a calendar file and an email, and attendees with an account keep their tickets, orders and saved events. In the dashboard, the organiser edits events in English and Arabic, draws versioned seat layouts with accessible seats and price tiers, scans tickets at the door with the device camera or a typed code, refunds whole tickets once the provider confirms, exports orders and attendees to CSV, and switches between workspaces that each keep their own currency, fee and team.
An event assistant answers questions about sales, seats and the door from the organiser's own data, drawing charts and suggesting follow-up questions, on Google Gemini, OpenAI or DeepSeek with your own key, and a venue studio stages a photo of an empty venue as an event concept with Google Gemini. Both frontends ship in English and Arabic with right to left layouts and light, dark and system themes, the API runs on SQLite or MySQL, and Docker starts all three apps with one command, or each app runs on its own with Node.js.
