Velra documentation

Run your real estate template, set it up for your agency, and find a fix when you need one.

Start with a local setup

Run Velra on your own computer, step by step.

What the template is made of

One real estate agency's online presence in three apps: the public property website, the agency dashboard, and the NestJS API behind both.

AppFolderPortWhat it is
Public websitestorefront/3030Homes to buy and rent with filters kept in the address, property pages with photo galleries and AI-staged rooms, saved homes, a side-by-side comparison, the agency page, a contact form and viewing requests
Agency dashboardadmin-dashboard/3031Overview with a properties map, properties and the property editor, inquiries, viewings, the AI staging studio, the AI assistant, settings, admins and roles, live notifications
APIback-end/8000NestJS 11 and TypeORM, on SQLite locally and MySQL by configuration, every route under /api

The folder also holds docker-compose.yml, which builds and starts all three with one command, and each app has its own Dockerfile.

What your package contains

The Public Website package is the property website on its own.

It has no data of its own: every listing, photo, neighborhood and setting comes from the Velra API, so it needs that API running. The API and the agency dashboard are separate packages and are not in this download.

What your package contains

The Agency Dashboard package is the agency's back office on its own.

AppFolderPortWhat it is
Agency dashboardadmin-dashboard/3031Overview with a properties map, properties and the property editor, inquiries, viewings, the AI staging studio, the AI assistant, settings, admins and roles, live notifications

It has no data of its own: every screen reads and writes through the Velra API, so it needs that API running. The API and the public website are separate packages and are not in this download.

What your package contains

The Backend API package is the NestJS API on its own, with the database, the demo agency and every route the two frontends use.

AppFolderPortWhat it is
APIback-end/8000NestJS 11 and TypeORM, on SQLite locally and MySQL by configuration, every route under /api

The public website and the agency dashboard are separate packages and are not in this download. Any client can use the API over HTTP.

On Windows, use PowerShell or Git Bash for the commands in these guides.

Both frontends run in English and Arabic, with the Arabic interface laid out right to left, and in a light, a dark and a system theme.
